Report: Mourinho twist in Fernandes deal

West Ham are tonight being reported as likely to miss out on signing Gedson Fernandes despite having apparently agreed an 18 month loan deal for the Benfica midfielder.

Sky have been reporting all sorts of different twists and turns this week but tonight are claiming that Jose Mourinho has come in for the 21 year old.

Having said in the past that a £33 million buy clause will be attached to any deal that has now apparently been dropped and either the Hammers or Spuds are set to pick the player up on a straight year and a half loan deal.

SSN report that Fernandes’ agent is  George Mendez, who also looks after Mourinho, and are suggesting that this may well give the north Londoners an edge in the final round of negotiations.

However, having earlier had Chelsea in the frame to sign him – along with Everton and Manchester United – SSN appear to be playing all ends against the middle ending up by claiming the player will make his mind up over the weekend!

How many decent top level players of that standard would actually WANT to come here with the choices on offer. I’d say if spurs are in for him he’s going there instead and we’ll be reduced to looking to the championship or European second tier clubs for a lower key alternative, as we have many times in the past. Whatever, they better pull their fingers out and soon as we desperately need some quality and pace in that midfield.

Speaking of Sky, anyone else fed up with the arrogant thick twat that is Gary Neville? His comments criticising Dec were shameful. Who does he think he is – and why do Sky stick with him? He is an irrelevant nobody who is out of touch. He said Dec was wrong to be happy with a point when we are 1-0 down in the 93rd minute!

If they get him, they get him……. Maybe the lad has no idea who Mourinho is, but if he does sign…he’ll soon find out.
I’m NOT interested in this club being involved in transfer wars and getting the sticky end of deals. I’m interested in players that want to come here and play for us…..
No more Loic Remy’s, No more Michy Batshuayi….. in fact no more wasting time on players who don’t want to come to this club.

Yep let’s just get in old over their best cheap players the sully way to make it work and become a top six team. Pay the cheapest price you can and lose out as usual to someone who actually understands how top clubs are run and are not a joke to the rest in the premier like we have become and he never learns. Well get ready for another board out demo and remember Burnley was only a couple of seasons ago . Will probably sell our best players as Sanchez ajeti Roberto Wilshire hugill all down to lack of money and thinking that will do.
