Report: Palace enter race for Hammers-linked stiker

|

New reports this morning of the possible destinations of Gabriel Barbosa – regularly linked with the Irons – are easy to rule out.

Speculation concerning a possible £26 million move to the London Stadium have been around for a while but the new twist this morning is that Palace have entered the ‘chase’ for the Inter Milan hitman currently on loan at Flamengo.

According to Passione Inter, Palace are mulling over a move for the player known as ‘Gabigol’with the Brazilian streikers future under a cloud currently in doubt.

Theere has been reported Hammers interest for some time but despite reports that we were only ever into Maxi Gomez and Seb Haller with the Frenchman becoming a record club signing.

Having gone to nearly £50 million for the Frenchman talk of another €30 million raid this January seems as far fetched as it gets

The Hammers – as reported earlier – are far more likely to bring in a striker in the shape of a loan signing.
