Report: Royals striker on Moyes radar

|

West Ham has reportedly joined the race to sign Reading striker Danny Loader as he rapidly approaches the end of his contract this month in Berkshire.

The 19-year-old is reportedly a target for a number of Premier League clubs including Manchester United and saw a Deadline Day move to Wolves collapse last summer, when Reading pulled the plug on a deal. ITK EXWHUEmployee claims that Loader is now on David Moyes radar this summer.

After the move to Wolves collapsed back in the summer, Loader left the door open for a transfer to the top-flight after confirming his ambition to play at the highest level.

“Everyone knows a Premier League club tried to sign me in the transfer window, but it wasn’t to be. I’m very ambitious, my dream is to play on the biggest stage and you never know when these opportunities will come around again,” he said.

Loader made his debut for Reading at the age of just 16 during Jaap Stam’s spell in charge at the Madejski Stadium and made 21 league appearances last term, scoring his first senior goal against Middlesbrough.
