Report: Shock ex-Hammer linked with Man United

|

Manchester United could make a summer swoop for Sebastien Haller!

The Sun reports that the newly-announced United boss, Erik Ten Hag, could bring the former Hammers flop with him from his old club Ajax.

Haller was a huge disappointment in east London, scoring 14 goals in 54 games in total, but he has been sensational since returning to the Netherlands, netting 33 times in 39 games in all competitions.

United are said to be weighing up a potential bid to sign the 27-year-old, who is a current Ivory Coast international.

He has two years left on his contract at the Dutch club and would cost around £35m in the summer, which is actually a lower fee than the Irons paid for the striker.

Ten Hag has yet to take up his role with United but is set to do so at the end of the season, with Ralf Rangnick remaining in charge until the run-in is over.
