In addition to the profit made on player transfers, West Ham’s wage bill has also taken a potential drastic cut in January. All figures are estimated as reported/estimated online.

Lucas Paqueta £150,000 per week

James Ward-Prowse £125,000 per week (Burnley paying £87,500 per week and West Ham paying £37,500 per week)

Niclas Fullkrug £100,000 per week

Guido Rodriguez £90,000 per week

Ivor Julio £45,000 per week

Luis Guilherme £35,000 per week

Andy Irvine £15,000 per week

Callum Marshall £15,000 per week

Kaelan Casey £2,500 per week

Total £540,000 per week or over £28m per season

Estimated Incoming Wages

Axel Disasi £80,000 per week (Chelsea wage)

Taty Castellanos £77,000 per week (double what he earned at Lazio)

Pablo Felipe £50,000 per week (five times what he earned at Gil Vicente)

Adama Traoré £120,000 per week (the same salary he is reported to have earned at Fulham as one of their top earners)

Keiber Lamadrid £5,000 per week

Total £332,000 per week or equivalent of just over £17m per season

That’s a net saving of around £208,000 each week or £10.8m per season
