Gianluca Scamacca has been handed his full West Ham debut against Viborg.
The Italy International is making his first start for the Irons after joining from Sassuolo in the summer.
Thus far, he has been limited to appearances as a substitute against both Manchester City and Nottingham Forest.
The Irons are going in search of their first win of the season against the Danish side, as they aim to qualify for the Conference League group stages.
There are a number of changes to the team that lost to Forest at the weekend.
Alphonse Areola has been drafted in to play in goal instead of Lukasz Fabianski.
Harrison Ashby plays at left back, with Ben Johnson partnering Angelo Ogbonna at centre back.
At right-back, Vlad Coufal plays out of position as he deputises for the suspended Aaron Cresswell.
Conor Coventry partners Tomas Soucek in midfield due to Declan Rice’s suspension.
Maxwel Cornet also makes his full debut, joining Jarrod Bowen and Manuel Lanzini in providing support to Scamacca.
