CandH ratings expert Macca hands out his marks
Fabianski: Has a Hammers keeper had a quieter season?! Very much number one and produced a number of top drawer saves when required 8
Randolph: Proved himself an adequate deputy when called upon 6
Coufal: Already beyond cult-hero status due to the quality of his performances. A top-class full-back with seemingly unlimited stamina. I hope I’m there when he scores 10
Fredericks: Main attribute is his pace in a straight line, end product improving. Not much of a look-in behind Coufal 7
Johnson: Credit to Moyes for giving the youngster some opportunities to get game time. Much to learn but better mixing it with the first team than out on loan 6
Diop: Did well when required alongside either of the mainstays at the back 7
Ogbonna: Slowly transformed into the more conventional sort of Italian centre-half. Very professional 9
Dawson: An unbelievable signing – surely even Moyes and Dawson himself couldn’t have expected this impact and level of performance 9
Balbuena: Now 4th choice but still reliable when called upon 6
Cresswell: Reborn, again, under Moyes. Invaluable assists and only struggled against real pace 8
Masuaku: A threat in attack/still a threat in defence. Worth remembering though there was a point in the season where it was feared Arthur’s injury could derail us 7
Rice: A brilliant season. Captained the side for majority of games, led by example and showed his sheer delight/amazement at the march into Europe in his post-match interviews 10

Perfect 10 for Vlad

Soucek: Not sure I can remember a player who seemingly loves the club, and just playing football, as much. His goals from midfield have been invaluable and, pleasingly, opponents still don’t seem to have worked out how to stop him 9

Noble: Thankfully the skipper wasn’t asked to do too much this season – mostly the rarity of seeing out wins late on from the bench! Next, the farewell tour… 5
Fornals: I’m starting to wonder if he’s now running around a bit too much, he has so much quality to offer 8
Benrahma: Big leap from Brentford to the Champions League places and perhaps judged harshly against these standards. Seems to be getting to grips with it in the last few games 7
Bowen: Most substituted player found himself replacing Benrhama towards the end of the season. A great finisher when through on goal 7
Lingard: Well what to say here. Goals, assists, gave everyone a lift with his energy, personality and quality. A brilliant impact signing 10
Antonio: Frankly I’m amazed Antonio has carried on where he left off after the Restart – unplayable on his day. Credit to the fitness team for getting him to play as often as he has 9

Honourable mentions:
Yarmolenko: Glimpses from the subs bench. Brief trial as a lone-striker was ended by injury before it really got started 5

Haller: Whereas Haller’s stint as lone-striker lasted longer, but just didn’t work out for either party 6
Snodgrass: Very popular member of the squad ended the season relegated with West Brom – must be called out for winning the free-kick that led to the miracle equaliser at White Hart Lane 5
Lanzini: Bit part player, but what a contribution – a masterclass in central midfield against Burnley and that one-in-a-million rocket against Spurs 7 (10 for the Spurs goal…)

Manager:

While you could question the sanity of any manager who comes in to try and keep us up and then comes back to do it again, Moyes has been brilliant and looks years younger for it. Got his signings bang on. Took risks in selling Diangana and Haller. Instilled a style of play, discipline and consistency we haven’t seen for years. Credit to the coaching staff as well 9
