Leicester City 0 Irons 2
The nerves may have been jangling before the match but there was barely a nail bitten by the end of this game.
The Irons produced one of their most composed displays of the seasons when they needed it most to complete a fine victory albeit against a team that looked less than interested for long periods.
Mario gave the team a lead via a cross from Masuaku and assist from Arnie before Mark Noble made sure of things with a thunderous volley which will go down as a goal of the month contender.
Beyond that Manu Lanzini saw a goal-bound shot blocked by Arnie who in turn smashed a shot against the bar as the Irons dominated.
With Arthur Masuaku causing serious problems down the left, Arnautovic – as ever at the heart of everything – and Rice and Ogbonna keeping it tight whenever threatened, this was a very straightforward win against a team that never really got any sniffings.
The overwhelming emotion is sheer relief with a win which puts us six points clear of Saints – currently involved at Goodison Park – and three in front of Huddersfield who travels to Manchester City tomorrow after Stoke were relegated via a 2-1 defeat by Palace at lunchtime.
Finally, we can take a big breath and relax which feels very very good indeed.

I actually went for a run 25 mins in as listening on the radio was shredding my nerves.Came back and we are 1-0 up still nervy though. Then Nobes scores a beauty to surely secure survival.I might live longer if i do this rather than dying from the stress of listening to away matches.
Someone remind Moyes, It’s amazing what you can do with an attack minded team!!
