Anybody watching Sky Sports News this morning may have got a completely different view of the Lingard situation than is being reported every day.
Until then there had been a clear view that the player was very much training alone as he tries to get up to speed.
But footage on the Sky showed him to be very much a part of things with the rest of the boys as he appeared to be hanging out with Mikey and Edson Alvarez.
There are no certainties on anything in this scenario but it was was certainly looking that way apart from apparent interest from Everton and maybe Wolves are interested.
That situation prompted a response from CandH follower Hameroo who said: “I guess it’s refreshing to know that neither Man City, Newcastle or Liverpool are trying to poach another player from us. Not that Lingard is actually our player of course.
However, right now I reckon if West Ham were to let on that one of the club’s cleaning ladies were thinking of leaving, then the big bad Wolves would be hanging around like vultures.
Is there any West Ham player that they AREN’T interested in taking?
I don’t what’s so surprising about him training with the others. A/ he knows a lot of them from last time; B/ how much useful training can a player do on their own; C/ he recently played a match with them.

Oh yeah, I forgot that. But that would have to have changed when he had to prepare for the Ipswich game. And he would need to be observed fitting in with the current team.
