|

DGOLDDavid Gold dubbed Alex Song “different class” following the valuable point at Sunderland.

The co chairman – responding to followers on Twitter – declared: “We were the better side. Song different class. Ref below par.”

And a check on the stats showed that DG had got it absolutely spot on concerning the on-loan Barcelona star who bissed the midfield all afgternoon.

The stats showed that  the 27 year old midfielder took one shot, had a 71% pass accuracy, created one chance, put in one cross, attempted five take-ons, won 60% of the tackles, made one interception and two clearances.

Today’s point puts us  fourth in the Premier League table with 28 points from 16 matches, two points clear of fifth-placed Southampton.
