Soucek: “This may be the strongest Hammers squad”

It seems more than likely that Tomas Soucek will be involved in tomorrow evening’s game against TSC.

Soucek’s a winner

The Czech Republic midfielder played a leading told in today’s presser and it’s usually the case that a featured press conference player appears in the game.

And he told reporters:  “I feel this squad may be the strongest I’ve played with at West Ham. It’s different type of players but we all have individual qualities, and this makes a great squad.
“With the quality of these players and our mentality, it’s certainly one of the best I’ve known since being here.”
“We’ve watched them in clips (TSC)  and we have prepared a lot. We know how they’ve played in their last few games, and the shape they like. We’ve identified some individual players and we’ve prepared very well.
“We want to show our side as well. We know they are top of their league and they’ve earned the right to be in the group, so we have to be at our best.
“We want to feel the same way in Europe as we have done in the last couple of years.”
