The Daily Telegraph claims that talks over the naming rights for the London Stadium with Indian technology company and carmaker, the Mahindra Group have collapsed.
They say Mahindra had a period of exclusivity which expired in August and although there was optimism in the weeks afterwards that an agreement could still be struck theΒ Telegraph sayΒ that is no longer the case after it failed to meet the asking price. Owners E20 Stadium declined to comment but a spokesman said: βWe are actively in the market for a stadium naming rights partner. We want to ensure we have the right deal and will make an announcement once we have that in place.β
Mahindra did not respond to requests for comment from the Telegraph.
Scenes broadcast all over the world from Wednesday will make it more difficult to secure a stadium sponsor so for now it will remain being called the London Stadium.
lol It’s all for the best, Mahindra Stadium doesn’t sound good… better a brand of beer or of cigarettes, the “Lucky Strike Stadium”… it would be very cool… just saying… lool π

Good news now let Brady negotiate a proper deal for 20 – 30 million a year instead of the pointless fools that negotiated this ill conceived deal.
I dont think she could do that 32.I read the business experts on the sister site a few weeks back say she is a useless business woman who only hangs on to the coattails of Gold & Sullivan loool.
So you could be out of luck there:D
Haha, those pesky blighters at the parish council π
How about just naming it the #westhamfamily stadium and be done with it maybe a few of the constant moaners who moan about everything from the comfort of an armchair and a Internet stream would be happy then? In fact let’s just call it the “Oslo arena” after our all knowing fan π
I’ve heard that Dana White and his MMA brand are considering a late bid?
