Sullivan backs worthy cause in Newham

West Ham joint-chairman David Sullivan was a guest on Taksport this afternoon with Jim White, Trevor Sinclair and Simon Jordan.

David Sullivan explained homelessness is something he feels very deeply about, he thinks that it is sad that people are either hungry and they need foodbanks or they have no-where to live in the modern age. The Joint Chairmen went on to say that he greatly admires Newham council because they have given every homeless person a hotel room since last March when the lockdown began. There were 300-400 homeless in Newham area before the pandemic but now there are none with Sullivan saying they have done a most wonderful job and he takes his hat off to them.

The West Ham owner also said he greatly admires Marcus Rashford which is why he made a £25,000 personal donation to his charity because of the thought of kids being hungry outside of school meals.

Sullivan said homelessness and people going hungry were more important than putting on sports facilities for local people.

He told Jim White, we can all do a bit more including himself, long term he would like to do something big adding before I leave this earth I really what to do something for this particular worthy cause.

  1. It is bitter painful to say this. But when it comes to Charity and things like that.Sullivan does like to help as do his sons David and Jack.

  2. In fact, he pointed out that the state isNike air force 1 spending less now thanorologi Rolex replica anticipated because a larger share of childrenImitazioni Rolex are attending school remotely instead of sitting in a classroom due to concerns over COVID-19. And the state pays less aid to districts for remote learners than kids in seats.
