Supporters’ valuation of Issa Diop revealed

Reports of interest from the top six in Hammer Issa Diop have been rife this winter.  The 23-year-old has been linked with possible bids from Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United.

While club insiders insist there has been no official approach in the form of an enquiry or a bid they say the player is not for sale.

Earlier this week we asked what valuation you would let Issa Diop leave and the results are now in.

Over 27% of nearly 1,500 Claret and Hugh readers would want £50m while over 26% of those voting say it would have to be £60m while another 20% say not at any price!

17% of supporters want £70m or more to let the French defender go with 6% saying £40m is enough, just over 1% would accept £30m and 1% would accept the £22m we paid for him.

Claret and Hugh understand David Moyes is not willing to sanction the permanent sale of any major first-team players in this transfer window.

Full Results: £50m 397 (27.23%) £60m 387 (26.54%), Not at any price 297 (20.37%) £70m or more 246 (16,87%) £40m 93 (6.38%) £30m 20 (1.37%) £22m 18 (1.23%)
