The battle for seventh place in the Premier League

Leicester City has moved up to seventh this evening after their 4-1 away win over Huddersfield Town. They have a better difference of one goal on Wolves who are also on 47 points but drop down the eighth place.

Watford is one point behind on 46 points in nineth place while Everton is four points behind 7th place on 43 points in tenth.

West Ham’s gap to the 7th spot and Europa League football is five points with a goal difference of -7.

Leicester City run in: Newcastle (H)  West Ham (A) Arsenal (H) Man City (A) Chelsea (H)   Predicted final points 53 points

Wolves run in: Southampton (A)  Brighton (H) Arsenal (A) Watford (A) Fulham (H) Liverpool (A) Predicted final points 57 points

Watford run in: Arsenal (H) Huddersfield (A) Southampton (H)  Wolves (H)  Chelsea (H) West Ham (H) Predicted final points 56 points

Everton run in: Arsenal (H) Fulham (A)  Manchester United (H)  Palace (A) Burnley (H) Spurs (A) Predicted final points 52 points

West Ham run in: Chelsea (A)  Manchester United (A)  Leicester (H) Spurs (A)  Southampton (H) Watford (A) Predicted final points 51 points

If these predictions prove to accurate then Wolves will land 7th place, Watford 8th place, Leicester 9th place, Everton 10th place while West Ham have to settle for 11th.

    Anything could happen,but at least we aren’t in our usual relegation battle.

    It might be that playing big teams helps the motivation, I hope Nasri is fit, Chelsea, Tottenham and Man U are the games we usually love the most if we can put one over on them.

    Given our tough run in I think that 9 points from our last 6 matches is a big ask – since Palace are on 39 points I think they may overtake us and we could finish 12th or even lower – our 4 away games are tough including Watford while at the moment leicester are on fire
