As the summer transfer window opens we have been linked to a number of players

There are a number of flair players being touted as potential new Hammers with the one that catches the eye most being Edson Alvarez – a hard tackling defensive centre back who boasts an impressive 71% of tackles won in the Eredivisie. He would become a worthy addition to shore up our defence.

Conor Gallagher is worthy of a mention too, an attacking midfielder who can also score but whether he could fill the Declan Rice shaped hole in our midfield is another matter.
