West Ham say no deal

West Ham have rejected the chance of sending Gianluca Scamacca to Roma on loan!

Sky Sport Italia say the Hammers have resisted the chance and there is now no chance of it happening.Sky Sports claim this is the Hammers first response but in fact it was revealed here on Claret and Hugh a few days ago when a source explained: “There’s zero chance, where would we get another player like him on loan!

West Ham paid €36m plus another €6m in potential bonuses and a 10 per cent cut of the resale value for the Italian striker who in an injury stricken season has seen him contribute eight goals in 27 competitive  games.

Roma  cannot afford a permanent transfer, especially after losing Tammy Abraham for six months to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

It is reported that Scamacca’s agents will need to push for an immediate exit from West Ham and help Roma strike a deal for the loan.
