Valencia misses German tour

Valencia3New Hammers signing Enner Valencia has missed out on the pre-season friendly tour of Germany. According to Chairman’s son Jack Sullivan the Ecuadorian striker only arrives back in England this evening and will instead concentrate on his training as he has not trained for four weeks. Valencia took part in the World Cup in Brazil scoring three goals ¬†for Ecuador with his last competitive match on the 25th June. Rumours of a slight ankle injury have not been confirmed but hopefully he will be fully match fit by the 16th August to face Spurs is selected.
