Declan Rice gave the club he is supposed to be joining a right poke in the eye after the West Ham academy under 18s scored a wonderful victory over the Gooners last night.

Dec of course has been heavily linked with a move to north London but you can see above  there was nothing other than overwhelming delight that his Hammers had thumped their kids out of sight,

He and Mark Noble watch on thrilled as Kevin Keen’s youngsters produced a superb display after going one down early in the first half.

And such was his delight that he joined the lads in their dressing room afterwards to  become involved in the most joyous celebrations we have seen at the Hammers in many years.

Watch above as he behaves like a big kid – it’s great stuff to watch and although he may eventually be on his way somewhere this shows him to be a true Hammer at heart!
