Our friends over at West Ham Fan TV spoke to three disappointed Irons fans directly after the crushing loss against Spurs at White Hart Lane yesterday. The three young Hammers fans told West Ham Fan TV they thought that Bilic’s formation was wrong against Spurs.
One fan said “We should have started the game out wide and we didn’t, We tried to do them down the centre. This season Tottenham’s strongest place is the midfield and we tried to do them in the midfield and we can’t, you have to stick them out wide. Antonio should have started for me. If you are going to play two up front, play two up front, don’t stick Sakho out wide, it doesn’t work, we learned that last year with Valencia, it doesn’t work. To be honest I think Bilic lost us this game, I really do think that!”

I totally agree, this was a repeat of the mistakes from last season.
Bloody well right, Glenn. Trying to accomodate AC after his injury was Big Sam’s undoing last season. Similarly, Bilic’s early good work is being undone by trying to accomodate him after his latest injury. No manager worth his salt would touch him with a barge pole. Very disappointed with Bilic.
