Coufal:8 Given license to get forward. Put in an excellent cross which Bowen should have scored from. Developing an understanding with Kudus.
Mavropanos:7 Kept on taking up a position wide right which allowed Coufal to push up. Played some good passes.
Aguerd:7 Commanding but ultimately not very busy until Alvarez went off.
Emerson:8 Linked well with Paqueta and made a couple of good runs. Really stepped up defensively after Alvarez’ departure.
Alvarez:9 Incredible chipped pass created Kudus’ opener. Got a knock early the the game but played through it. Scored West Ham’s second to round off a great move.

Ward Prowse:6 Further forward than in recent games. Not really a number 10 but pressed well from the front.
Soucek:6 Good and bad passes bur never really put under pressure.
Paqueta:7 Hit the bar with a vicious strike early in the game. Out of position on the left but his passing was inventive at times. One dink set up Emerson for a good chance. Got cocky at one point and gave the ball away in a dangerous position.
Kudus:8 Great run down the right hand side set up Paqueta. Scored the opener with a clever run and smart finish. A real handful.
Bowen:8 Seems to be developing a good understanding with Kudus. Finished well from a Paqueta pass but was offside. Intelligent play to set up Alvarez for the second.
Substitutes
