West Ham target Nelson

According to various newspaper reports, the 23-year-old winger prefers to stay in London and has a contract offer on the table from the Gunners.

However, with his deal running out in the summer, there are no guarantees that he’s going to put pen to paper on it.

If Nelson leaves Arsenal, there’s every reason to believe that he would be open to moving to the London Stadium.

Due to the inevitable sale of Declan Rice, it’s going to be time for  a rebuild to get the Hammers back to where we should be, and Nelson could be a good player to bring in.

He will also get more game time at West Ham than he currently is at Arsenal and with the Gunners qualifying for the Champions League, they will need to sign more players.

This would see him falling further down the pecking order at the London Stadium and at 23, he will no doubt want to play more regularly.

Since his return from a loan at Feyenoord last summer, Nelson has three goals and three assists in 12 appearances for Arsenal this season.
