West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma has issued a heartfelt farewell message to the club’s fans following his departure. The French defender completed a loan move to Al Orobah after overcoming medical concerns.
Zouma joined West Ham United in 2021 and played a key role in the team’s success during his initial seasons. However, recurring knee injuries limited his playing time and ultimately led to his departure.
Zouma expressed his gratitude to West Ham fans for their support and the positive experiences he had during his time at the club. He acknowledged the challenges he faced due to his injuries but emphasised the positive memories he created.
Zouma delivered a farewell message to fans via social media. “Yo West Ham fans,” he wrote. “It’s time for me to say goodbye. It has been a huge pleasure to be part of the success of this amazing club.”
“I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has helped me throughout my time here! Big thank you to all the fans for your support. I will miss you All! You’ll be forever my Family”
Kurt Zouma’s departure from West Ham United marks the end of a chapter for the club. While his time at West Ham was impacted by injuries, he made significant contributions and was a huge part of the clubs Europa Conference League success.
For me personally, he should never have played for the club again after the cat incident.
100% agree. And then to be made captain. That kind of thing isn’t just a momentary mistake and I wonder what the board would have done if it was a less valuable player.
Spot on. 👍
