West Ham are reportedly considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon but face competition from Leeds United.
According to Sport Witness, Solomon and his representatives are pushing for a permanent departure after a difficult spell in north London.
The winger joined Tottenham on a free transfer in 2023, but his debut season was derailed by a serious knee injury just six weeks into the campaign.
He has since found himself caught in a cycle of temporary moves, spending the 2025–26 season on loan with Villarreal and Fiorentina.
Despite featuring during pre-season under Roberto De Zerbi, Solomon is not believed to feature in the new Tottenham manager’s long-term plans.
His agent, Ronen Katsav, has also made it clear that another loan is not being considered. Solomon reportedly wants to become an important player at a club where he is genuinely valued.
Proven Championship Quality
A return to Leeds remains a possibility after Solomon enjoyed an excellent loan spell at Elland Road during the 2024–25 campaign.
He scored ten goals and registered 12 assists in 39 league appearances as Daniel Farke’s side won promotion to the Premier League.
Farke clearly knows how to get the best out of him, although Tottenham’s reported £15–20 million valuation has previously cooled Leeds’ interest in a permanent deal.
Having seen very little of Solomon myself, it’s difficult to make a definitive judgement.
However, having canvassed the opinions of a few Spurs supporters, it would appear he could be a potential replacement for Crysencio Summerville.
He predominantly operates as an inverted left winger but is comfortable playing across the attacking midfield line. His productivity in the Championship also makes him an obvious player for West Ham to consider.
Relations Begin To Thaw
In years gone by, a deal like this would barely have been worth discussing.
However, there appears to have been a thawing of relations between Tottenham and West Ham following the departures of Daniel Levy and former Hammers chairman David Sullivan.
Following seals for Mohammed Kudus and Mateus Fernandes transfers between the two clubs are no longer completely off the table.
Given West Ham’s need for pace, creativity and Championship experience, this is certainly one rumour worth watching.
If we really wanted him surely he would have been included in the Fernandes deal ? Sounds like another damaged player, let Leeds pick up his medical bills
He isn’t coming to Leeds he’s not PL standard.
