West Ham fear Iron’s departure as doubts arise

|

West Ham backroom staff are convinced that Gianluca Scamacca could be on his way out of the club this summer.

Rumours have been circulating for some time about the summer signing and reached a high when he changed agents.

Now recovering from a small operation, the club are shiocked that he will be out for the rest of the season and despite assurances to the contrary from his agents, fear that he will be on his way out in the summer.

Juventus are believed to be planning to make a move for him  as soon as possible this summer. According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport (print edition May 5th, page 22), the West Ham hitman is on their radar.

A key Hammers source told Claret and Hugh that a move would hardly come as a big surprise declaring: “We are being told he has no plans to move on but there have to be doubts in these circumstances.”
