West Ham’s search for a new manager takes yet another interesting turn as Will Still, a long-time contender, has announced his departure from Reims.

Reims officially confirmed on their website that Still, the young English head coach, will be stepping down at the end of the season. This news comes amidst rumours linking him to the West Ham job.

Still has openly declared his support for West Ham and has even been spotted attending games at the London Stadium this season. This, coupled with his successful stint at Reims, makes him a popular choice among some West Ham fans.

The 31-year-old Still is considered a rising star in European football. He made a name for himself with an impressive 14-game unbeaten run at the beginning of his tenure with Reims.

While the official statement from Reims suggests a mutual decision, the timing of Still’s departure raises questions, particularly considering West Ham’s managerial vacancy.

With David Moyes expected to leave soon, West Ham is actively searching for a new manager. Still’s situation has fueled speculation that he could be the frontrunner for the position.

Perhaps Still, compared to other names like Lopetegui and Fonseca, might be a more exciting prospect for West Ham fans. His passion for the club and his impressive record make him a potentially strong candidate.

While no official confirmation exists, Still’s departure from Reims and West Ham’s managerial search have become intertwined. An announcement regarding Still’s potential appointment at West Ham could be imminent.

Moyes needs to be sacked now after yet another mauling . Man City may need to beat Westham 10-0 on the last day to win the title and with lame duck Moyes still in the charge they’ll probably slaughter us . Good players will have already decided to leave Westham by then and the new manager will be ham strung from the start . NOPETIGUI

  • Kevin waylen says:

West ham fans need to support petition for NOPETIGUI at change.org as most supporters want AMORIM to become new west ham manager.

You are talking ******** again. He’s already looking at houses in Sunderland and isn’t a crook Salthouse client!

  • Mal says:

For me personally, West Ham fan for the last 60 years, I would go for Will Still, an admitted Irons fan. I firmly believe this appointment to be in the clubs best interests, his love of our club, he will prove it with the results. COYI.

Seconded, someone who loves the club and is young and progressive. I posted at NY when the Tfr window opened that we were woefully under prepared with no clear striker options on Jan 1st. We’d just beaten Arsenal and if we had invested in a quality front man, we just might have gone further than ever….instead we wasted time and millions on Phillips.

  • Trevsheadwonthecup says:

Far too soon for will still . If he does well at Sunderland maybe in a few years he might get this job .

  • weathamsteve says:

We are heading towards the one alternative-Lopetigui and why is he the only alternative? because Sullivan won’t spend the money to sign the right and proper manager who has the best interests of the club. So Will Still is young and maybe forward thinking, but then so is Gary O’Neill.I say give him a go if he can possibly work with Sullivan.

  • Hugh Jars says:

Please Mr Still, come and put us out of our Moyes misery!!!!
