West Ham look safe from Leeds in danger zone battle

|

West Ham remained six points in front of Leeds United after the Yorkshire team managed a draw at home to Newcastle earlier today.

That may have surprised a few but the relegation threatened teams usually find a new lease of life towards those vital last games but it leaves us very much in the driving seat over the Sam Allardyce managed club.

The Whites now sit in 18th place but with a vastly inferior goal difference to the Hammersand  look hugely unlikely to catch us even if they win their last two games – one of which is against us.

With the other  relegation threatened team, Nottingham Forest, currently drawing at Chelsea things are hotting up but there really does remain a long way to go in that one with half an hour left on the clock.

We of course travel to Brentford tomorrow and the second bottom team, Leicester City entertain Liverpool.
