It appears West Ham have made their decision on who they want to succeed Alphonse Areola—and that man is Mads Hermansen.
News of West Ham’s interest in the Leicester City goalkeeper emerged earlier today when ExWHUEmployee gave his latest update, hinting that the Danish stopper had edged ahead of Parma’s Zion Suzuki. Ex also suggested that Irons bosses were growing increasingly confident of striking a deal for Hermansen.
Earlier this week, C&H were informed that no formal offer would be made for Sheffield United’s Michael Cooper, and it soon became clear that it was a two-horse race between Suzuki and Hermansen.
Pierce Charles of Sheffield Wednesday had also been mentioned in the media over the past couple of days, but our sources dismissed that entirely—stating there was “not even a phone call” made regarding the young keeper.
And now, earlier this evening, Claret & Hugh were made aware that West Ham have submitted a formal offer to Leicester City for Hermansen. As the story gained momentum, Visit Example Alex Crook has also reported that an official bid has gone in—and that the player is keen on a move to East London.
Keep a close eye on this one. It feels like a deal that could be wrapped up without too much fuss… but then again, it’s West Ham—so nothing’s ever that straightforward.

We need another good keeper so just don’t low-ball them give um what they want get the deal over the line and lets sort out a new number 9. C O Y I’s.
Cheers Paul,
We need to get Her Man Sen in as soon as possible! Mad if we don’t He can become our new MadMan in a team with a reinvigorated PaqMan. COYI.
Leicester need the money. Approaching them now, rather than early in the window (as everyone seems to call for) makes sense. Leicester need to agree something with someone. There’s more pressure on them than us.
