WEST HAM RATINGS v SWANSEA

|

By Hugh Southon

Adrian: Little to do and probably enjoyed the rest after Wednesday evening down in south west London  5

Demel: Solid and comfortable on an afternoon when there was little to worry about from the visitors 6

Collins: Rock solid and a real central defender’s performance 7

Tomkins: Always composed and a couple of outstanding tackles 7

McCartney: Perfectly satisfactory performance. Never troubled 6

Noble: All action stuff from the local lad at the heart of everything 7

Taylor: Never stopped running. Often the scapegoat but no one can point a finger at that display 7

Downing: Usual above average performance with darting runs and great skill at times 7

Nolan: Two goals, non stop running – can’t ask for much more 8

Carroll: Wonderful all-action display before an unfortunate sending off which will cause  split reaction

Jarvis: Satisfactory without ever creating a great impact 6

Subs: Cole: Clearly was never going to be the same sort of threat as AC but a workmanlike effort 5

Nocerino: One lovely run that was class and then directing traffic with great confidence. looks a serious player
