West Ham slip behind in Giroud race

|

West Ham are falling behind in a reported race for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.

We have been linked with the 34 year for two or three weeks but it seems that Inter Milan have jumped into pole position should Frank Lampard decide to let him go.

However, that too remains very much in the balance at the moment because with a transfer ban in place the Chelsea boss may to decide to hold onto the player to guard against injuries.

Crystal Palace are also keen to get involved but according to the Italian journalist Nicola Schira who predicted Seb Haller for West Ham talks are already underway with Inter.

The Serie A outfit’s Porting Director Piero Ausilio s reported to have been in touch with Chelsea and even offered the price the club are prepared to fork out.

Schira took to Twitter to explain what’s going on saying: “Inter are in talks with Chelsea for Olivier Giroud,”

Yesterday Piero Ausilio was in London to discuss with Blues the situation of French striker.

Marina Gronovskaia asked to Inter £3.5-5million to sell him in January.”

Thank whatever deity you fell like that we’re not in pole position for another player looking for one more payday. He’s an occasionally off the bench striker now at Chelsea why on earth would we consider helping out Chelsea’s wage budget.
