West Ham striker linked with a move to Turkey

|

jonathan-calleri-800x504Besiktas are reportedly interested in taking on West Ham striker Jonathan Calleri.

Reports suggest that the 23 year Argentinian  has been offered to Besiktas by his agent, and the Turkish press are already touting him as the ‘new Aguero’.

Calleri is on still technically loan at West Ham despite reports he has returned to South America. The Hammers agreed a season long loan from Uruguay outfit Deportivo Maldonado.

Besiktas’ president Fikret Orman is convinced that Calleri would be a good addition to his team. The report claims there is still some confusion over the players economic rights as three different third parties are said to be currently involving in owning the transfer rights of the player. The managerial company that owes Calleri economic rights will demand about 3 million euros from Besiktas.

The 23-year-old, who netted 39 goals in 90 appearances over the last two seasons before arriving at West Ham, has represented Argentina at the U-23 level, scoring 1 goal in 3 appearances.
