West Ham Target Wolves Defender Kilman as Summer Rebuild Commences

|

West Ham United are setting their sights on defensive reinforcements, with Wolverhampton Wanderers’ centre-back Max Kilman emerging as a potential target, according to GIVEMESPORT.

While pushing for another European qualification spot, West Ham’s inconsistent Premier League form exposes a need for defensive improvement. Their upcoming Europa League test against Bayer Leverkusen further emphasises this need.

Kilman’s consistent presence and leadership as captain for Wolves make him an attractive option for the Hammers’ backline.

West Ham’s summer plans are shrouded in some uncertainty as David Moyes’ future as manager remains undecided. However, technical director Tim Steidten is actively exploring potential signings.

West Ham reportedly considered Kilman in January as a replacement for Nayef Aguerd. With Aguerd staying put, the Hammers retain an interest in Kilman.

Our main priority is bolstering our defence, with a centre-back (not Harry Maguire) and a full-back high on our shopping list. Kilman remains a target, and the Hammers might test the waters with an offer.

Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo, available on a free transfer this summer, presents another option for the full-back position.

West Ham’s summer transfer activity hinges on their overall direction under possible new leadership, if there is a change. Nevertheless, the club is actively seeking defensive reinforcements, with Kilman and Adarabioyo as potential targets
