West Ham summer target Jamie Vardy could reportedly become an Arsenal player within the next 24 hours if paper reports are to be believed. Last night, it emerged that negotiations with the 29-year-old were being fast-tracked after the Gunners triggered the release clause in his contract.
According to the Daily Mail, talks have progressed at “an accelerated pace” with “only formalities” now left to conclude. In addition to the Hammers.
Vardy’s proposed contract with Arsenal is for a four-year term and is worth £120,000 a week, around double his current salary with Leicester. Vardy’s wife hit out today at abuse she received from Leicester City fans “Listen LCFC fans don’t come at me with abuse! I have nothing whatsoever to do with calling the shots in my husband’s career! Its unfair”
Yes Canchaz we got suckered into the Carroll signing.Lets hope we don’t get our fingers burnt again.Lessons learnt though we would like to think.
Both too old and too much money. I’d much rather we spent our money on attacking midfielders, than questionable strikers.
A mention of Carroll should be a sharp reminder of how easy it is to pay a fortune for a one season wonder, with the only cool head, apparently Sullivan’s, who didn’t want Carroll.
With all this transfer speculation, why are we not trying to do a deal for Berahino, Albion want Valencia and we want a proven forward, what’s wrong with a swap deal.
Berahino would be a good fit for the Hammers but nothing has been said in the media I wonder if it is already in the pipeline and we are keeping stumm for once, hope so.

I saw some Twitter about this earlier with Liverpool fans saying £20m for Vardy was a snip & a steal compared to what they paid for a lump of sh1t like Carroll lol.Their words not mine obviously 🙂
Does the LCFC not refer to Leicester City fans not Liverpool fans Sean ?
You are of course right and I corrected it 😉
