West Ham to turn all the screws on Rice sale

|
West Ham United are hoping to encourage a three-way auction for the transfer of Delcan Rice

West Ham will turn all the screws on Rice sale and not allow the Hammers captain to leave on the cheap.

West Ham are ready to turn all the screws on getting the price they want for prize asset Declan Rice this summer.

There is no question  the fella is on his way but there are those claiming we will get no more than £70 million for the best defensive midfielder in the country.

However, it appears that Arsenal have been joined by Chelsea and Manchester United for the Hammers skipper and that Real Madrid have more than a passing interest.

In those circumstances the Hammers board are in a great position as a likely three way tug of war goes on and pushes the price to maybe even more than the £100 million price tag on his shoulders.

Beyond that if they can’t get what they want the Hammers will argue that he has an option on his deal and is contracted to us until 2025.

Since breaking into the team Rice has become one of the most complete midfielders in the Premier League, making 200 appearances in the competition.

if Arsenal were willing to spend £80m on Caciedo,£100m for Rice is the minimum. Interesting to see if Alexis McAllister is also available this summer as the big guns might get him cheaper than Rice and Bellingham appears to be going to Real Madrid.
