West Ham win the Premier League U21 Cup

West Ham Development Squad’s second leg of the Barclays U21 Premier League final with Hull City kicks off at 7pm tonight. The young Hammers hold a slender 1-0 lead thanks to Djair Parfitt-Williams’ 90th minute winner, under the lights at the Boleyn Ground over a week ago.

West Ham: Spiegel, Byram, Page, Rice, Henry, Oxford (c), Diangana, Makasia, Samuelsen, Browne, Parfitt-Williams.
Subs: Hendrie, Howes, Pike, Hector-Ingram, Dobson.
Hull City: Watson, Lenihan, Tymon, Clark (c), Rodgers, Clappison, Annan, McKenzie, Hinchliffe, Olley, Bowen.
Subs: Saltmer, Ter Horst, Clackstone, Batty, Hamilton.

Parfitt-Williams saw his effort hit the inside of the post and roll across the face of goal on 44 minutes.

105 minutes It remains 1-1 on aggregate at the half-time stage of extra. 15 more minutes then it will be settled on penalties
120 minutes that’s it extra time is complete without finding a winner so it is a penalty shoot out
Marcus Browne, Reece Oxford, Sam Byram all scored their penalties.
West Ham win the penalty shoot up 5-3 with Martin Samuelson scoring the final penalty

    Well done lads. Well done terry Westley. How many of the experts were slagging off Westley earlier in the season saying he wasn’t up to the job.

      Yep you are right Slaven,some had decided they didnt like him before the season had barely even started.Just another example of our knowledgeable wise men & fan experts being wrong again,lol 🙂
