West Ham v Leeds Player Ratings

Fabianski: Apart from an unstoppable goal he had an afternoon of little activity but good to see how he has speeded up his delivery 6

Coufal: Looked very good front and back but killer crosses would be a good addition to his game 7

Zouma: One dreadful mistake which could easily have led to a goal amid the usual previous composure and subbed at half time presumably for injury 5

Ogbonna: Two early mistakes could have proved costly but grew into it after a slow Hammers start 6

Emerson: Some exciting runs down the left now and again and little to fault 7

Rice: Magnificent performance and so fitting he should score on what could be his last appearance at the stadium. Wherever he is next season will make them – or dare I say us – a better team. Defended so well and drove forward whenever he could. Thanks for it all Dec 10

Soucek: It really hasn’t been his season. Off the pace for the most part and played one terrible ball which could have given Leeds a goal before seeing an effort blocked at the other end 4

Paqueta: Magnificent assist for Lanzini’s goal when running through the defence down the goal line, Tricks, skill. It was all there. Maybe we won’t miss Dec quite so much with the Brazilian around 9

Fornals: Slick passing, fierce running, great dink to Bowen for Rice’s goal, Looked a very fine player 8

Bowen: Great goal and always doing what he does, running hard at defenders, finding space, scoring and setting up chances 8

Ings: Set up the Bowen goal and provided some neat touches and short passes 7

Kehrer: Zouma wasn’t missed. He is playing well of late 7

Lanzini: Ten minutes on the pitch from end. Well done Manu 6

Johnson: Late arrival. No rating

Mubama: Ditto above

How good it was to see us playing on the front foot second half. I just loved seeing Paqueta, Fornals and Lanzini together towards the end.
