West Ham’s director of football names revealed

West Ham United are now taking a close look at candidates to become a director of football role at the club this summer.

Claret and Hugh revealed the news this would happen a few days ago and it has now been confirmed by the Daily Telegraph.

The Hammers have been unhappy with the players brought in by David Moyes and Rob Newman during their latest spell at the club. And they are now set to become answerable the a dof should they decide to stay in those circumstances which may be doubtful.

Telegraph Sport understands that Brentford’s Lee Dykes and Roma’s Tiago Pinto, are fancied.

Both of interest to Tottenham Hotspur, along with Victor Orta, who left Leeds United this month. They are the names that have already been discussed by West Ham.

The club remain tight lipped on other possible candidates it look at the possibility of hiring somebody to work with sporting director Mark Noble.

Noble returned to West Ham in January to take up his role as sporting director, working on player recruitment, academy development and player and staff wellbeing, while promoting the values of what it means to play for the club.
