West Ham shareholder Daniel Křetínský attended the Hammers’ 6-0 demolition of Lincoln City on Wednesday night, Claret & Hugh can reveal today.
The Czech billionaire has been a largely absent and silent partner during his time at the club. Earlier this season, I pointed out that prospective buyer Amanda Staveley had actually attended more West Ham games this campaign than Křetínský, who has held a stake in the Hammers since 2021.
However, he is currently in the UK on what has been described as “Post Office business” and took advantage of the opportunity to attend Wednesday’s 6-0 blitz. What’s more, he could be back in the stands for Saturday’s crucial Championship clash with Swansea City.
Křetínský Could Attend Swansea Clash
Speaking exclusively to Claret & Hugh, an associate of Křetínský said: “Daniel attended the game against Lincoln. He is still in the UK on Post Office business and could attend the next one against Swansea.”
Good to hear.
Whilst we still await the formalities to rubber-stamp the Czech Sphinx taking a 46% stakeholding in West Ham, it’s good to know that he’s using his time in the country to support Nuno Espírito Santo and the team.
