They now meet Reading FC Women away in the semi-finals of the SSE Women’s FA Cup.

They will travel play the Royals in the last four of the prestigious competition at on Sunday 14 April, with the winners taking on either Manchester City or Chelsea at Wembley Stadium at the start of May.

Sullivan told CandH: “We are so happy and it’s a winnable game. Sadly we are away but we are just one game away from a Wembley appearance.

“Unfortunately the Final will clash with the Southampton game. But for that we would be taking 20,000 to Wembley were we to beat Reading..

“It’s a huge achievement for the manager and the team in their first season at this level,They jumped from what is Division 1 in the Men’s to the Premier League last Summer, the only team to do it.”
