West Ham United sponsors Experience Kissimmee is considering its position with the club following Zoumagate.
Like many on the forums they are disturbed the player was involved in the match against Watford last night and that has raised question marks over the firm’s relationship with the Hammers.
Zouma himself is also being keenly looked at after the cat incident by his kit suppliers Adidas as the row rolls on ands on.
The player was at the centre of regular booing last night although despite the BBC reporting that this was from across the ground, many fans are claiming it came solely from Watford followers.
Whether it did or didn’t this isn’t going away ant time sooon and Florida based Experience Kissimmee are set for likely discussions with the club.
The Florida-based tourist organisation said it was “disheartened” that Zouma played in the Premier League match despite widespread condemnation of his actions.
West Ham manager David Moyes, though disappointed in his player and describing himself as an animal lover, justified the decision to include Zouma.
“As we wait for further information from WHU, we will be evaluating our relationship and sponsorship with the club.”
This is a serious own goal by the club. What were they thinking by letting him play? They could have defused this reasonably quickly by immediately fining him and suspending him and putting him on some counselling course etc etc. But letting him play last night has made the club and DM as much of a target for vitriol as Zouma himself. Utterly moronic!
What Zouma did was utterly despicable. But, how many points do you think we should forfeit? Because if Diop took his place last night, I’m pretty sure we would be 3 points down already. As for flaky sponsors who are completely irrelevant to us anyway, good riddance. More than happy to boycott them next time I go to Florida!
