Anderson at Heathrow PIC

|

Here’s what’s claimed to be the first picture of Felipe Anderson arriving at Heathrow tonight ahead of what now appears to be a certain switch from Lazio to  West Ham United.

It has been produced by the  @WestHamSocial twitter account.

We understand that the deal has now been all but nailed down and is likely to be announced on Monday after the last formalities have been sorted out.

With a work permit in place Anderson is all set to arrive for a €50  million plus  fee once agents fees have been taken into account.

In the meantime a smiling Anderson looks to be more than happy with the way developments are unfolding after CandH was told earlier that he and his representative is kicking doors down to join the Hammers.

He will bring the number of new signings to six but with Paraguay defender Fabian Balbuena but that isn’t likely to be the end of the incoming players.

We were told that there was more activity on the go as manager Manuel Pellegrini assembles a squad capable of pushing for the Europa League.

Sounds like we are 90% done on the Anderson deal..
That said, can’t relax until he signs the contract and is in West Ham shirt and pants.
    What an amazing summer!

I wonder how Malbuena is goin to get a work permt. He only has about 8 caps for his country. Hopefully he is an exceptional talent.

    • Less than that! 2 appearances and twice on the bench in the past 24 months. A work permit could be a struggle

Same is true of Anderson though to be honest (1 friendly in 2015 and the 2016 Olympics – nothing since) but his permit appears to have been granted pretty quickly if we’re to believe the Daily Fail?

Good point HFL. On what grounds was it granted? Possibly exceptional talent?
