CandH’s PlayerWatch  reporter Daniel Danielli Leach  put Manu Lanzini under his personal searchlight this afternoon. Here’s every move the Argentine midfielder made before he left the action with injury.

1 – Plays a neat one two with Arnautovic but he is offside when he takes the shot
2 – Does not manage to get a touch on Cresswell’s shot which could have taken it goal bound
10 – Plays a great flick on in the air to Arnautovic but it comes to nothing
11 – Crosses the ball from the left and side but the header is straight at Begovic
14 – Controls the ball and turns his man before releasing the ball to Arnautovic but Begovic comes out to stop any chance
22 – Cross on the right side fails to get to Arnautovic
26 – Lays off Noble on the edge of the area but his Zaza style shot goes for a throw in
28 – Picks up the ball, spins his man and dribbles 10 yards before playing a through ball to Arnautovic on his right but his shot goes wide
30 – Some very risky play at the back with his team mates leads to a counter attack for us
35 – Makes a really bad pass from a throw in to Wilson but luckily nothing comes of it
37 – Caught offside on the edge of the area when receiving an Arnautovic ball but the touch was poor anyway
41 – On the right hand side he Controls the ball well with his head but is impeded when turning
45 – Picks the ball up from a Kouyaté pass, turns his man and releases the ball to Arnautovic which leads to a corner for us
51 – Whips in a free kick to the back post but the ball is headed away
53 – Capitalizes on a poor Bournemouth pass and dribbles out and in before releasing the ball to Arnautovic
54 – Crosses in a corner but the ball is headed away
59 – Dribbles from the half way line on the left hand side all the way to the edge of the area beating 5 players in the process but his shot skies over
62 – A 35 yard free kick goes to nothing
62 – Before Begovic takes a free kick Lanzini goes down in the centre of the pitch for no apparently reason
63 – Is substituted for Chicharito for hopefully what was only precautionary measures.
Verdict – 6.5While not outstanding today he put a good performance nevertheless. His quick passing, movement, mini dribbles and creativity are much welcomed but today he was not able to produce a performance like he did against Huddersfield. He and Arnautovic are starting to form a formidable partnership and hopefully the injury isn’t too bad.
