Gold remembers fans after precious victory

David Gold has sent a personal thank you message to the West Ham fans.

For he believes that thousands of them played a major part in yesterday’s much needed boost as the Hammers beat Palace with a Manu Lanzini goal.

It would be impossible overstate the importance of the game after the Hammers had gone winless in the league since the scrappy 1-0 over Bournemouth.

With so many issues surrounding the club this season both on and off the pitch the Irons buckled down and showed amazing spirit to come out with three incredibly precious points and push their way out of the  bottom three and up to 15th spot.

And a clearly relieved co chairman believes the supporters played a major part in the victory tweeting: “Today we won by hanging on with 10 men supported by thousands of passionate West Ham fans driving the team over the line. Thank you. dg”

Those strange rulings by Atkinson need a serious looking at . Not the first time West Ham have been screwed by dodgy ref’s . Last season saw a shed load of very poor ( even bias )
Decisions , which virtually destroyed our push for the Champions League . One could argue we threw away a few games towards the end , but the damage caused by bad refereeing had already been done .
Now that we have a few players back from injury , which Thier impact on the team is plain to see , we get knocked back by having Creswell suspended for two games for ( invented ) offenses which never warranted yellow carding . The fact that we can’t appeal makes it even more galling and annoying . Next up , home to Sunderland , which on form is a game we should win . Refs depending .
    COYHammers .
