Hammers open to offers for these players

|

carrollWest Ham will entertain offers for a number of first team players if their valuations are met in January. The Hammers who could be available at the right price include Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho, Andre Ayew and Javier Hernandez.

Obviously, they all wouldn’t be allowed to leave at the same time unless suitable replacements could be found. It is also believed the club would not stand in the way of Sam Byram, Jose Fonte or James Collins if offers came in.

Everyone knows you don’t get good value in January but that works both ways with desperate clubs close to the relegation zone prepared to take gambles and pay big prices for players who they think can get them further up the table.

So all three of our strikers. Crass stupidity.

    • hammers64 says:

Just thinking that myself. We must have a masterplan of 2 nailed on classy strikers if we are going to sell them all.Moyes has barely used Hernandez or Sakho since arriving so it would be interesting to see what he considers to be an upgrade.

  • Hammerkip says:

Hernandez ….????? Really so basically all! Our strikers…ha ha ha

  • bubbles says:

Hernandez is a waste of a shirt . Totally wrong for West Ham . He is a luxury player who offers nothing in 90% of the pitch. Sakho should stay and be treated fairly . Carroll take whatever we can get . Agony is also not a West Ham player so a complete clear out would be good if we can take in a couple of proper strikers and give Martinez a chance .

  • blimeylimey says:

Why would West Ham get rid of James Collins….?

  • doc66 says:

Speculation story. “Who could be available”????
It would be pure suicide to sell all 3 strikers. Not even our owners are that stupid. I can see Sakho going but that’s been on the cards for a while.

  • The Demon says:

Under no circumstances should James Collins be allowed to leave. Two year playing contract, badges, then defensive coach, then manager. The bloke is as much ‘West Ham’ as Mark Noble and a born leader. Think Sean Dyche.

  • stillcrazy says:

If true and the revenue is not reinvested to improve the team then I suspect that the board are preparing for relegation or the start of asset stripping

    • Mary Millingtons Ghost says:

Well the spivs have already sold the Boleyn and mortgaged Rush Green, so the only assets remaining are the players!
I fully expect to see the bibs and cones on eBay over the coming months.

        Carroll , noble ,ayew , fonts , cresswell , zabba , sakho , byrum , pea , kouyate , obiang ,
        Reid ,
Just looked Mary and no bids as yet 😂😂,

        • Mary Millingtons Ghost says:

Yeah, we’ll probably have to move at least half of that little lot on before we put in our next offer of £26.5mill for big Willy C😄
Don’t forget, although the spivs are both multi-millionaires and West Ham ‘fans’, the club appears to still be borassic!,
          I honestly don’t get it🤔🤔

  • Hammerite says:

Did someone say Carroll and Ayew were strikers?
We need players who want to play for us. Hernandez looks lost when he comes on.
Speed and intensity needed in midfield instead of players giving the ball away.
    Its not rocket science.
    Bah humbug

Does nobody bother reading the article before posting their knee jerk reaction? “Obviously they wouldn’t all be allowed to leave at the same time, unless suitable replacements can be found” ,should give a clue. No one is proposing that we should be left without any strikers.

I find it strange that this knowledge or clickbate has been made public again ? The players must feel great and want to give it their all for the club lofl !
Who told you this Sybil ? If a source in the club told you this he or she need sacking !
Anyway if true sully can bring in that 35 mill striker he promised ? So he can sit up top and wait for service that will not come ! 😂😂 I wonder if the word priority is a word fully understood in and outside this club ? What about vision ! That’s another good word ,
    Dictionary in the post 😉

  • jimbo says:

Agree Laz. Need A defensive midfielder to break up opposition possession and increase our share, and more midfield creativity before we worry about strikers. Arnie doing great but ratio of chances to goals is poor, Antonio not fit or not committed, I dunno which, and strikers chasing hopeful punts all day. Not sure they can do a lot better with the service currently. Oh and a decent RB who can defend!

  • JRS says:

We have a 21man squad & we want to sell all our strikers after wishing for fit CFs forever finally have 3 & all on bench.
I would actually happily keep Sahko if they could work out a deal & Ayew is a good squad player.
AC if we get an offer I would sell but why not Kouyate?
We should be more worried about bringing in players bc our squad is to thin.
And I do believe Moyes past relations w Chic came with him even tho he said that clean slate deal.
And Chicharito actually scores when plays still our top scorer in PL w 4 imagine if used him in front 2.

But let’s get players in before we sell any.
