Slav confident of a “big season”

|

Upbeat Slaven Bilic is convinced the Irons are heading for a “big season.”

Speaking to www.whufc.com immediately after the defeat in Romania he said: ““We have a big season ahead of us which starts on Sunday and we are going to be good in the Premier League. I am very confident about that.”

And he told the critics of his team selebilicbirkikaraction whic saw a shadow squad on duty: “We had some youngsters in the team but mostly they were players we will count on.

“It is a good experience for a few of the youngsters but some of the guys who played tonight showed us they are going to be very useful.”

He added:  “We had a good game and started well when we scored the goal. It was a shame that we conceded a cheap goal because until that moment we were controlling the game and I was expecting to us score another one because Astra looked really nervous and started to panic.

Yes could be a great season but you need to keep the first team away from the dead wood before the rot spreads.,
Let’s turn over the gooners on Sunday we won’t get a better chance with their injuries lets just hope Sancez is not fit

Okay lads, its balls out time for DJ!
I’m predicting we will be in for a massive roller coaster of a season.
Culminating in the final placing of 9th.

Btw, even if we finish lower, I’m expecting us to be royally entertained win, lose or draw!

    COYI…….

We might even qualify for the Europa League☺☺☺☺

The Irony is that we would like to do a Southampton this year and finish in that 7th place for the Europa. I think our journey is just beginning and that Europe through playing merit is a real possibility.

New management, some great new players, stability will come this season and we will be entertained, even if we lose. We will got to the top 6 teams with a “winning is possible” mentality which we’ve lacked. I think we can get a result this Sunday – would love to see Payet and Sakho tear the Gooners a new ars-h-le.

Its simple, either enjoy the last season at The Boleyn & go with the flow or spend our last season there grumbling about everything every week.I for one am going down the route of the first option.Anyone who wants to spend the season groaning for 9 months good luck to you all.
