Tore injured and out for several weeks!

Summer loan  signing Gokhan Tore is injured and out of action for at least five weeks.

The Turk has suffered a quadriceps muscles problem which affects the thigh and we were told he will be out for a minimum of five weeks.

It was also explained to ClaretandHugh by our regular inside sources that the club doesn’t have the option to send him back to Turkey in January.

The club can do so with Simone Zaza but although the Irons have been unhappy with what they have seen of Tore the only way he could return would be via a mutually arranged agreement with Besiktas.

The club forked out a £2.5 million loan fee for Tore which has already been paid but that won’t stop them attempting to negotiate a return to Turkey as January approaches.

Meanwhile there is a 50-50 chance that Diafra Sakho could return to the squad next weekend as well as Aaron Cresswell.

Injured you say – well he won’t be missed!

It’s a shame really, I was looking forward to the Olympic Stadium crowd singing his song – cruel, I know, but hit’s the spot perfectly!

A blessing in disguise maybe hehe

Like you say Eddie a blessing in disguise, wide players we are not short of and Ayew will be back soon, Slav must have seen something we have not and perhaps after he recovers the team will all be playing better and who knows he may look a lot better than what we have seen.

Look on the bright side boys, the news could have been worse. He might have been declared fit and in the squad!

I had high hopes when he signed. To say he’s been disappointing is an understatement. Just a shame we lost Tomkins for him and that crappy left back and crappy striker

He’s a good player struggling to adjust to a new environment. “Supporters” making that new environment poisonous isn’t going to help him or anyone else. Or the team, more importantly.

Sad to say it but… Yes…!!!!!

And I’d absolutely LOVE for Sakho to come back at the weekend and score a couple, not only for the obvious reasons that we need goals but also to prove the powers at be that he would’ve been a better choice that Zaza. I wonder how bad his injury really is…. So hard, I could argue with myself on that subject
