Double boost for Bilic ahead of Palace

|

Sakho whamactionSlaven Bilic has received a double boost as he heads into two of the most crucial weeks of his Hammers managerial reign.

Aaron Cresswell is known to be likely to make the squad for the match against Crystal Palace at the weekend but reports are that Diafra Sakho could make a lomg expected return.

According to insiders Sak is ready and pain free after a long haul back to fitness with a much needed change in attitude to go with it.

And even the well respected PhysioRoom. com which tracks Premier League injuries is claiming that he will return on the 15th in time for the Selhurst Park clash.

The site – usually pretty accurate – also claims that Andy Carroll’s long awaited return will happen in time for the Sunderland game the following week whilst Andre Ayew will be back in action on October 30.

For me he’s always been the best striker at club COYI

Tried everything he could to engineer a move away. Wouldn’t get anywhere near my team. Sell in January if he’s fit though. COYI

Cutting of your nose to spite your face??? We do need him. With him, Carroll and Ayew back we can hopefully get out of this mess.

Slav is right! Lest we forget Sakho sulked when the club said it needed to strengthen the forward line and he threw his toys out with the pram. But on his day he is as good as any at the club. He offers us pace which the the others don’t, the ability to pull defenders out of position and he is a cracking finisher. So I’m hoping he has made up with his teammates and the boss and he returns ready to prove his point. If he does then he is a real asset.

I think with Sakho a lot depends on his mental state, he had a lot of problems last season, crashing his car, abusive texts to mother of his child and harassment, I hope he can sort his mind out and come to terms with his difficulties. Personally I thought he was sulking because he saw AC being picked ahead of him when he had been playing really well, I could certainly understand if that was the case but as with some others he just needs to knuckle down and prove himself, he also wasn’t happy when the club announced it was looking for new strikers but if you play in one of the big leagues you have to get used to the fact that this will happen and often. Like most if he plays well and keeps his head down off the field I would welcome him back, we need him in his best form to give us a genuine threat up front.

I’ve always liked Saks, something out of nothing type, never stops running, hassles keepers and defenders alike. I think he started playing up,when he realised how little he gets paid compared with players ie Valencia and AC.I hope something can be sorted,so he can stay.COYI

If he is willing to knuckle down as has been mentioned then he does offer us a fair bit.Im not that pleased with his actions but we do only get half truths some of the time.
Pulis has a similiar problem with Berahino but he isnt stupid,he knows he can offer him something on the pitch so he plays him.Does he like him, probably not but he knows he can win them a game.Maybe Slaven will feel the same about Sakho.
Is it really worth having him sat in stands until January if he is fit. That seems silly to me.
