One down, one to go: With Mateus Fernandes now heading to north London, the focus shifts onto the other West Ham United player always expected to depart this summer once relegation was confirmed: Hopefully the duo will be the sole ‘key players’ who are sold this summer as West Ham rebuild.
Crysencio Summerville’s World Cup earned him plaudits and likely added millions to his eventual transfer fee. But it seems unlikely that Summerville, 24, will be following Fernandes across London.
According to thepeoplesperson.com, “Crysencio Summerville: Manchester United now keen on West Ham winger”
“According to Sky Sports, Crysencio Summerville is emerging as a leading left-wing target for Manchester United. It is understood that United continue to prioritise the midfield, but Summerville is also firmly on their radar.”

Summerville may well be the second sale of the summer
There is a sense that the deal might not be a clear-cut as the Fernandes to Tottenham sale because:
“It is claimed that the situation regarding signing a new left-sided forward is “a fluid one” and dependent on what happens with Marcus Rashford.”
Rashford, involved in England’s World Cup round of 32 game, is (hopefully!) not close to deciding his own future with the tournament taking his attention: Which may well allow Liverpool, Arsenal or even AC Roma, all of whom have been linked with the Dutch winger, an opportunity to steam in and grab “Cry’s” signature.
Little wonder that Man U fans are unhappy with the way INEOS are running this transfer window, with echoes of West Ham’s own ‘we have to sell before buying‘ strategic blunder of 12 months ago.
Strange that these reports keep saying left wing target when he mainly played right wing in the world cup, he can obviously play along the front line and is very versatile.
He will be going, but his value has gone up, I would expect £70m upwards now.
When I think of the pittance we sold our players for last time we went down it makes me cry.
I’ve renewed my season ticket for the 2026 _ 2027 season in the championship in my opinion none of the players should not be able to leave they got west Ham relegated they should have to spend a season in the championship in order to win the championshipif the players are not good enough to keep West ham up why are they good enough for any Premier league teams definitely Bowen he should be ashamed of himself the way he played all season the whole shouldh have been advised to to give the fans their money back because if you brought something expensive from the shops and it didn’t work you would get your money back
What an absurd statement!
Bowen was over worked and anybody that saw him would realise that. he did nothing but do his best no matter what. i don’t believe he should be captain as he is a forward but hey i am not the manager but you defo wrong on you assumption on Bowen as many here will back him up

No rush now Fernandes is sold. Utd can’t afford him and have to shift players before they buy. No one is buying Rashford he is on £300k a week. Unless Utd want to loan him again.
Maybe we can get Amad Diallo and Mainoo in exchange 🤣
