West Ham expect to  have sold out of all tickets for the home leg of the Europa League game against Lyon on April 7 within the next couple of days.

And a top insider revealed the clash had been the fasting selling match in the history of the club – in which a win  could match us up with Barcelona in the semi final.

Over 50,000 tickets have been sold since they were put on sale late last week and beyond a few corporates  all tickets are likely to have gone by Thursday or Friday.

So it seems a re[peat of the riotous atmosphere for the match against Sevilla is all set to hit the east end again as the fans continue their dream of lifting a trophy for the first time in over 40 years.

A source told ClaretandHugh: “We have never seen anything like it – this is the fastest selling game in the club’s history. What a night is on the cards.”
