Dawson/Forest update

|

The Hammers look set to be missing Craig Dawson for the match at Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

The match kicks off at 2pm and will be shown on Sky’s main event channel but the likelihood appears to be that the usually super resilient central defender may be missing with a persistent thigh problem.

The Sun is reporting that he will definitely not be ready and with Angelo Ogbonna not available at this timeĀ  after nearly a season off it looks likely that Ben Johnson will again be drafted in alongside Kurt Zouma.

David Moyes of course has a habit of surprising us but it seems very probable that Daws will indeed be missing from the Hammers as they provide the first Premier League opposition at the City Ground for over two decades.

New Forest signing Jesse Lingard is set to continue in the Forest midfield after making his debut against Newcastle on opening day.
